Always liked this rightly named Ave. at my boys school in Honolulu. Not sure of the age of them, but they are quite tall.

Those look like Roystonea regia.

Magnificent!

Maybe 70 years old? What school is it?

Is 175 years the age of the school or the age of the palms?

Comparing with Peradeniya Royal palms avenue, I would say the trees are less than 100 years. beautiful avenue !

Sorry, the school is 175. There are quite a few Royals like this throughout Honolulu. Beautiful and stately, but must take a big

effort to clean.

There are still some patches in Homestead, Fl that have this look to them. It is a very cool look.  Maybe Jody can post a picture?
