I have 2 Livistona chinensis , one I keep as Houseplant and the other in ground...I noticed they have completely different fan leave shape...the one inside has connected new leave and then after a while it starts to dividing but the one in ground open a new leave as divided from the beginning ...do we have different type of Livistona chinensis? or maybe one of them is mislabeled ?

I bought it as Chininses...was pretty damaged with only two yellow leaves...practically I paid only for the pot :) it seems fast and happy in full sun...
