The king coconut is really a nice coconut, the stem and the fruits are similar to the Golden Malayan, but the leaves are darker green. The leaves are also stiff resembling a Fifi Dwarf coconut.

These two threads have some of the best looking coconuts I have seen :)

it takes 6-7 years to fruit

After planting?
How long is it for the fruits to mature?

4 types of king coconut

nawasi king tall

 average height king coconut

dark orange king

bottle king

i think orange type of coconuts developed in 2 separate geographical location  Indonesian islands and south India and srilakna,  king coconut trees take little late to fruiting unlike Malay gold and king  water is so sweet, tree grow tall,

Ahamed,

Those are beautiful Coconut Palms.  Which variety of the King Coconuts produces the REALLY BIG coconuts that I saw a photo of (unfortunately an older black and white photo) growing in Sri Lanka, in which the nuts are much, much bigger than any other variety of coconuts?

I agree, Philippe.  I would love to try the coconut water of each variety.
