I have this from a seed I believed was a Rhopaloblaste Ceramica ...But as Pal mentioned, it should have pinnate as first leaf but even the 2nd one is not pinnate...also it has red margin on the leaf...any idea what type of palm this could be ?

the size of seed is 19X11 mm

You have a baby bottle palm (hyophorbe lagenocaulis) there Mohsen..... The dictyosperma is very similar but I'm sure yours is bottle palm. I have 100's of both in the seedling stage and have produced well over 1000 bottle palms over the last 3 years... Keep it warm over winter!

It should be hyophorbe lagenocaulis as I had few with the seeds I bought ...

Will it survive in Sydney, I think I see one in Sydney Royal Botanical Garden...

what is the growth rate ?
