Hi,

Some time ago I brought with me a little Raphia farinifera seedling, it dried some time after. I decided to keep it planted in it's to give it a chance. Today I checked it and it had a green shot!! :)

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

How well do these respond to root damage from being pot bound and then planted?  My R. farinifera seems to be growing backwards.
