Hello all- Can someone give me an idea of how to find a local chapter so that I can join too? I would be happy to help with organizing local events as well, if needed.

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you are between the First Coast Chapter and the Central FL Chapter.

I would recommend joining the Central FL Chapter.                        http://www.plantapalm.com/centralfl/default.asp

They are a friendly group, have a great newsletter, and meet at least 3 times a year in various places. have plant sales & auctions and their own website.

If you want to help out with Palmfest, join the 1st Coast Chapter too.

CFPACS is having a meeting Sat. June 23 on the East Coast.   It would be a good meeting for you to attend.

Check out the Central FL Chapters website for details.
