This is a palm on the University of Arizona campus. I hope someone might be able to help with identification. The plaquard says B nobilis but is obviously incorrect. Thanks in advance!

That's no brahea. I think it's hyphaene thebaica

It is a beautiful plant indeed. It didn't look just like the other N ritchiana I have seen (albeit very few) so I was confused. It didn't have the orange fuzz and was just a bit off.  The picture posted here is a nice ritchiana about one hundred yards away from the Palm in question. It's also very nice.
