Hi everybody

Could you help me in identifying my little palm? This seeds was in a delivery of Chamaedorea tuerckheimii. The seed has the same size like the Ch. tuerkheimii. The little palm was germinated in December 2015. Perhaps a Dypsis?

Thank you for your help.

if the seed ,is like that of the Chamaedorea tuerckheimii, for sure it will be a chamaedorea elegans

Thank you for your answers. The palm grows so slowly, so that I thought it may be a Dypsis.

Have a nice day.

The price of one C tuerckheimii seed is 6 EUR, the same as for 100 seeds of C elegans. So you should get a refund or replacement. – But the growth is normal for a C elegans. I guess the width of the pot is 8x8 cm or so?

Thank you for this picture Pal, that's very interesting. I have 7 Ch. tuerckheimiis and for me, that's enough. I'm pleased with the Ch. elegans, I like this little palm.

I wish you a good time

Greetings

Very few palms have a pinnate first leaf, with one of them being Dypsis leptochelios. That is probably what you have there.
