Dypsis Lutescens

Most Dypsis Lutescens in my area start looking a bit spindly when they're 10 -15 years old.  I must admit I've had my fair share of spindly Golden Canes too, most of which I've cut down and replaced with something else.  But I have one that has really grown well and for a 14-year-old specimen, it looks pretty damn good.

Does anyone else have an older Dypsis Lutescens that still look good for its age.  If so, give us a look!

I could not say what their exact age is but definitely older than 15 years. Golden Canes  along with carpies seem to get very poor press in this part of the world. They were some of our first plantings over 30 years ago when we were much younger and poorer, you could buy them at a school fete for 50 cents or a dollar. They made a big contribution in developing our garden.
