It is funny to see this plant growing in a garden.These grow in every ditch or wet spot.They are really weeds here. I will try and appreciate them more now.

El Oasis - beach garden, distinct wet/dry season ,year round 20-38c

Las Heliconias - jungle garden ,800m elevation,150+ inches rainfall, year round 15-28c

In Spain is a common indoor plant, but growing in a garden is a slow grower with very nice flowers.
