Dear Friends,

Today i noticed that my Chamaerops Humilis fan palm which was growing in a small pot,the roots were lifting this palm upward.As on previous occasions when i planted this Med fan palm in the ground,they did rot during our wet tropical winters.This time around i thought of growing this baby in a raised container,in this case i used bigger cement pots which were lying idle with weeds growing in them.

This palm was raised from seeds sent to me by M@x.

Cont..

In the dig up pit,We added some seaweed granule,Perlite coarse grade and some fish meal :

Well done, Kris. I didn't know they could grow in the tropics. Couldn't be much more different from my climate, what a wide range!
