I have a few Ptychosperma paddle leafers that I am offering for sale. The large ones are in 3 gallons and $150 each. These palms are solitary and grow just like elegans, but have the 'lisa' trait and their leaves stay fused always. Very very neat palm. Call or text (850) 303-1738.

Man, Pete, I thought you would have thought me a bit more keen than that! No--not a schefferi. I personally got this seed from the mother plant and she is spectacular.

Schefferi is a clustering palm too--all of these are solitary palms.

Thanks for the pic Andrew.... That's what I was asking for earlier to clear up confusion. Great unsual palm and I'm sure the pic of the mother plant won't hurt the sale of your babies.... Wish I could buy 1

If you can grow elegans, this palm will grow for you. Maybe we can work out a trade??

Any seeds available by chance?

Wonder if they would grow here in Southern CA?

They are spectacular looking with that leaf structure.

From what I hear, elegans is marginal over there. That's what this is, I think.

Even I can grow elegance in my crappy microclimate. Get some light spotting in winter but other than that it's ok. Your plant looks freaking awesome!
