Way to go for mine! It is not very fast but I suppose that's because it doesn't receive the excellent care you give yours. But still, I am happy it is alive:-).IMG_3541.thumb.jpg.1c409753fdca523d21585

Hmmmm …, looks a bit like suffering from wet feet (?) during the dark season … :bemused:

N°1408 exactly three years after germination, leaf #9 is partially pinnate, #10 (spear) will become entirely pinnate.

Is there nobody who likes N°1402? (pic above)

I intend to give it away. :( But shipment is not possible any more because the total height from the tip of leaf #11 to the bottom of the double pots is ca. 180 cm. :o

Or it would cost a small fortune of €€€ or $$$.

In case of OZ the customs (quarantine) is still more problematical than the incredible expensive shipment …

Ok, we will find a way. The problem with shipping is its size: Including the pot, palm N°1402 is 180 cm tall. Maybe there is a specialist who can make a strong box for me, but only the postage would cost ca. EUR 60 to UK. If you are interested PM me.

N°1402 has the longest pinnae (leaflets), up to 53 cm; the palm is ca. 140 cm tall (without pot):

Yes she is a beauty. It's love at first sight!

But don't think I won't get you anything in return!

Even if you would, I couldn’t accept it, because I don’t have any free space on my window sills or in my tiny home office. :(

Yes Pal, you grow your palms into perfection. You might be the best potted palmgrower on the continent and I'm glad to have learned already so much from you!

The double pot which it is now in is good for this season. The palm stands currently on a shady gallery, perhaps only 20% sun.
