I got this orchid a while back. It was from a Sabal that was being cut down. Since then, the genus has been changed and I noticed a unique growth pattern on this particular one... is this a different species than the common one?

Here is the standard one I see all over. The growth habit is much more dense in this form or species... Thanks in advance for the help!
