Picked up this plant at a nursery going out of business about 4 years ago. I have been told it looks like a mexicana type. Whatever it is, it looks great at sunset after a light rain.

Ceratozamia mexicana ? Does it flush green? 

El Oasis - beach garden, distinct wet/dry season ,year round 20-38c

Las Heliconias - jungle garden ,800m elevation,150+ inches rainfall, year round 15-28c
