At what point in time (I guess measured by no. of leaves) does a coconut seedling grow "pinnae" leaves?

Also do the bifid leaves in seedlings open "windows" and turn out into pinnae leaves? Or are they completely different leaves altogether?

I hope I make sense with my questions.

Mine usually start throwing leaves that are intermediate between pinnate and bifid at about leaf 9. This presents either with windows or a few leaflets at the bottom that are split from the main bifid leaves. After this, the leaf becomes progressively more pinnate until it becomes fully pinnate.

The bifid leaves always stay bifid. Any splitting that occurs will occur when the leaf emerges.

Ahh I see. Thank you very much for the information. I have searched everywhere for this.
