Tallest palm tree in florida?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I know royals can reach around 120ft, but due to lightning, wouldn't most perish at a smaller height?  Ive only seen royals around 70ft.  i found these pics in the gulf coast of Florida of Washingtonia Robusta.  How tall could these be?  Ive seen sabals around 70-80ft but thats as tall as ive ever seen in Florida.  anyone know of taller palms both native and planted?0615-TallPalmTree-EM.jpg.e3bc0d72cdc52c0579b69565d412_100palms.jpg.e2c7d3de3cad4
