Neat! I still have a few from a batch I sprouted in 2014. They like shade once the temperatures rise above about 86˚F/30˚C with high humidity. Here's my largest one:

I have one that's about 25 feet (8 M) tall. Kind of skinny, I suspect it could do with more sun once it grows a bit.

LOULU (Pritchardia) schattaueri - Here's a pic I just took of mine in the garden in full sun.  There are probably only about 12 tall trees left in habitat on private property (the former Jimmy Stewart Ranch), which is located only a couple miles upslope from me here in south Kona.

Hawaii Island (Big Island), leeward coast, 19 degrees N. latitude, south Kona mauka at approx. 380m (1,250 ft.) and about 1.6 km (1-mile) upslope from ocean.

No record of a hurricane passing over this island (yet!).

Summer maximum rainfall - variable averaging 900-1150mm (35-45") - Perfect drainage on black volcanic rocky soil.

Nice sunsets!

Yours looks much better than mine.

Habitat helps, of course.

Interesting to see such widely spaced trunk rings. I quite like that look.

I think it's stretched from being squeezed between a P. beccariana, a giant mule and a P lanaiensis.

i suspect it will slow down a bit once it starts to get really tall.

PT member 'kwtimo' sent me a few pictures of one growing in South Florida. I hope he doesn't mind if I share them here:
