I was in Singapore riding my bike around and saw a stand of Livistona which I really didn't expect to be L.chinensis however my expert horticultural collegue over there clearly stated "L.chinensis" to my photo although the ones I saw are similar to this in which the leaves are bluish glaucose compared to a many greener L.chinensis in Australian gardens. Has anyone notice d this before elsewhere ?

I agree. They are looking very much like those we have in countless numbers on this island.

best regards
