Thanks Jason, Rich and Josh for yr input :greenthumb:, yrs was funny Jason :)

Yes Rich its what its called "now" but imho it will go back to Tsaroavoasira, look @ the base of the 1 near the house, thats a 10ltr bucket and a 15cm ruler in the pic, the base is 48cm  and 6 ft up the trunk is 32cm.. The crown is pretty identical to the Dypsis in POM on page 154..  Also, Olivers pic of the spathe getting pushed up of Amps was Purple.. Maybe there are 2 forms of Amps  ???  Anyway, we are all free to have an opinion and voice it  in our Democratic countries we live in :) Pete

Pete, I heard a while ago that it was getting yet another name. I never thought it could be ampasindavae and survive here!  Orange Crush is getting a new ID too I think. Great palm btw.  20 years and mine is finally starting to put on size!

That's a beauty!
I think I have some seedlings of Orange Crush and I wonder how fast they grow.
How old is the flowering beauty?

Philippe, its "Not" Orange crush..  It started out being called Ceracea, then Tsaravoasira, then Nauseosa, then Ampasindavae, Richard and I are on the same page that it will go back to Dypsis Tsaravoasira :)  No wonder when my youngest daughter was small, Shakira would call Dypsis  Dypless :)    Pete
