How Do I Get Water to These Seeds? Help!

So I am trying to germinate these Washingtonia robusta seeds that are on a heat mat but the water keeps evaporating before the seed can get to it, every time I pull the paper towel out it is dry and the top of the inside of the bag has water drops all over it. Is there a way to fix this?

Why are you not just dropping the seeds in some soil?  Just try to stop them germinating if you do that...

Looks like I am goung to do that now, this paper towel method has proven to be a huge waste of fime, for me at least. I will post pictures of the newly planted seeds in some soil. Maybe in a bin or a large plastic bag.

I don't think u need a heat mat for robusta seeds. They will easy germinate on the room temperature.

Out here they germinate in rock piles, abandoned cars, and pavement cracks. You'll end up killing them with too much TLC.

These are the easiest seeds to germinate. Go get a Styrofoam cup from a fast food restaurant, put the seeds inside, turn on the hot water from your faucet and fill it up with the hotest water that comes out. Put the lid on the cup and repeat for this every 24hrs for 5 days and they will start to germinate.

They do germinate pretty easy, and wow do they grow fast. I have what is "supposed" to be pure Washingtonia Filifera germinating now. The seeds did look a little different, perhaps smaller and lighter colored. This is my Filibusta or Robusta the first summer from seed, I was amazed at the growth rate.
