Hard to believe these Brahea are growing in Columbia South Carolina:

I believe these are Armata and Decumbens? Decumbens looks flawless.

Decumbens sure have a nice color.  I have a trunking brandegeei that made it through our 12F.  Edulis would be another good candidate for the Southeast coast.

Brad, you should have shot me a quick message- I could have gotten you into the zoo for free! I have a membership there and I love to stroll around;being around that many palms in such a small area is therapeutic. But yes, that big one near the bridge to the Botanical Garden is an Armata and it seems to be doing fine. It's in a good spot right there next to the river.
