Suriname cherry

I'm growing a couple of varieties of Surinam cherry, but still waiting for fruit.  Two are still relatively small, although are carrying a decent amount of foliage.  My third plant is larger; similar in height to yours, but fuller and holding a lot of foliage again.  It flowered a few months back, but no fruit.  Its been flowering another round for about 8 weeks now and I'm still not seeing any fruit developing.  I'll snap a couple of photos and look up to see what varieties they are.  I was introduced to them by Andy of Andy's Orchids here in my town.  He has them lining the driveway up to his greenhouses.  They were delicious straight off his plants!

Had three, now have two varieties ( not enough water through last summers nuke fest took out one) " Chumba" and "Lolita", both red varieties, came from CA. My Black ( not sure if it is "Zill" or not, ) came from Florida. Aside from the one I'd lost, these are one of the easiest smaller,  tropical fruits here in Phoenix, provided afternoon shade of course. Found Chumba to be sweeter and less tart than Lolita. Black variety hasn't yet set fruit.

Ed, no resinous aftertaste with yours?

I checked and mine are these two same cultivars.  The smaller one is "Chumba" and the larger one is "Lolita".  The photo of the old flower is the Lolita, which despite having flowered vigorously, I'm not seeing any small fruits yet.  I got one fruit off the Lolita last year... and again lots of flowers.  It looks healthy, so I'm a bit puzzled.
