So many people are shocked to learn that Spanish Moss is a bromeliad. It's pretty darn hard to convince some.

Yeah Virginia Beach has Spanish Moss, a lot of it too. I went to First Landing State Park, it is fun, Spanish Moss everywhere!

We have something different here called beard lichens it prefers cool humid climates like mine. It’s also very drought tolerant.
