I was gifted these and have no ide what they are. My best guess is dioon holgemii???

I am bad with Dioons.  I have a couple that I got as seedlings, which I later determined were mislabeled.  It does resemble this one which I planted in my Carlsbad garden several years ago..  I bought it as Dioon rzedowski when it was just a band size seedling, but it clearly is not rzedowskii (leaflets are far too narrow).  I have since assumed it is one of the edule complex.  I read that holmgrenii retain their tomentum for a long time after a flush.  Mine does not, but does yours?  I don't have any current pictures of this plant, but I don't recall it being substantially larger and this photo was about 8 years ago.58f58ec399a6e_20090613-IMG_3426Dioon.thu
