For me it is a fast grower( for a Chamaedorea in a mediterranean climate ).

I bought mine two years ago and now it is monster, growing faster than other palms that i have in pots.

This picture is in April 2015 and the other pictures, today.

Now it has two meters high, flowers and two trunk rings.

Sorry for the poor quality pictures.

It is said that 'Arborescent' is faster than the normal variety. Very nice plant :greenthumb:

Mine was already a little bigger than yours when I got it, but it has grown about 4-5 fronds each year for the few years I've had it....and two of those years were spent in the ground in Oklahoma City:

I dug it up last summer when I moved to Northeast Oklahoma, and I think I will keep it in a pot from now on.

The growth rate seems to increase a little each season for me.

I have free seeds for any who want some. My plants and those of a friend are almost like bunny rabbits, except not so soft and fuzzy. LOTS of seeds.

Just sent a few to Russia. And Pennsylvania. Shoot me a PM (Private message) with your mailing address. No charge! That's how user00 got his!

I think so, too. You'll see the difference very quickly, as the "tree types" start to shoot upwards.
