I took a break from working in the yard to take pictures of plants coming back to life after winter. I was surprised that no one else has posted about F.  purpusii, though the genus has been mentioned. 

 

It's difficult to capture the translucent green leaves contrasting against the red new stems, but I really love it. 

 

Please share any photos/experiences you have.
