Pal, here are some pictures of a sprouted Guihaia argyrata seed. In contrast to Rhapis laosensis from the distance of the emerging aerial part, it must be clearly remote tubular germination.  I wonder if this difference is consistent also in comparison of Guihaia to the rest Rhapis spp.

Today the tip of the 4th leaf became visible; it is not the fastest grower during its first years since germination …… :asleep:

Sorry, no seeds this year, because only the female plant flowered but not the male/hermaphrodite palm.
