For many of you this common garden plant is a year-round performer, but here in NorCal we enjoy the blooms mostly during mid to late summer. This more compact form is easier to overwinter and resumes active growth in the spring. I've had trouble getting the pink and the yellow color morphs past the first year or two, but I keep trying. ;)
