Is that still in a pot Steve or is it planted out? 

If still in a pot, do you plan on eventually putting it in the ground? 

Only C. alba here, been the ground for about 4 months now and starting to snap out of the shock.

Here's mine. Planted 3 years ago from a 5 gal. I think. It's hard to photograph as it's behind a lot of things. Pretty tall now.

I'd say about 10 feet. You can see it tucked behind the hookeri.

That is pretty decent growth from a 5 gallon in 3 years for a New Caledonia species.  I planted this one that I had picked up in a 5 gallon at a Palm Society auction.  I planted it some time this spring or early summer to replace a Dypsis onilahensis which never did anything for me.  (The D onilanhensis got left in a 5 gallon for probably close to 5 years before planting it and got rootbound, not growing after planting and slowly degenerating).  I like the look of the many Cyphophoenix elegans I have seen on garden tours!  Looking forward to seeing all yours grow too.

Gets challenged every winter.
