Couldn't resist a photo or three. These two fellas were looking especially handsome this morning particularly the one that recently

lost a leaf sheath. Chunky.

Steve, they are Dypsis prestoniana. I put the name on the little tag in the title, but it's really small and easily missed.

Jim, Peter, muchas gracias!

Ok Tim those really deserve a WOW, nice. That color is crazy and nice fat trunks, and the shovel shows the scale. I have a small one that is very slow, maybe one leaf a year.

Those are stunning! I have one small one that had previously struggled in shade (one of my many planting errors) and now looking better in a pot awaiting a better location. Plus two gifted to me by an extremely generous person on PT (thank you so much!) which are in full sun and not traumatized like my first.

Your photos are always both educational and inspirational to me Tim!

Alex, the palm is Phonicophorium borsigianum. It has a killer red/purple new leaf too.
