The Garden of Bill Dickenson - Fullerton, CA (Sept 16, 2017)

Pando

Recommended Posts

Here is the gallery of Bill Dickenson's garden, taken during the PSSC tour in Fullerton, California today, and brought to you in full Pandovision :)

This is an old, mature garden with a large Roystonea regia, Bismarckia, a giant Ravenala madagascariensis up front, and a unique hybrid Syagrus in the back among many other palms and plants.

Thank you, Bill, for opening up your garden today for the tour!

For the most part, when I see Pandovision will be in play, I don't even bother taking pictures. Great job as always and looking forward to Bob's!!

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

Wait till you see Pandovision of Bob's place! (The DoomsDave Cam has already been there, but Pandovision is well, you'll see)

Looks like I took 485 pictures at Bob's. Second only to when I was at Len's, which was something like 564. Haha. So yeah, hang in there, it's coming. :)

I hope people post their photos as well; this is not a photography contest. Everyone looks at things from a different angle, and I tend to photograph design and form over specific species, so some of my closeups (especially at Bob's) will be boring for the hardcore palm folks.

I believe I took one pic at Bob's...and 1 or 2 at Bill's.. I'll gladly pop them in here, or there...lol

Man I should have made it to this. I was so exhausted from work and had both kids but I thought about parking them up and going for a bit. Great photos Pando!
