Has anyone ever seen This before? This is a big agave attenuata that has always been green. I have 100s of these around my property that are big this is the only one like this the hole center has opened up bright yellow like a variegated plant it is healthy and looks great besides the yellow. The yellow makes it look super beautiful. Here is a couple pictures but even the pictures aren't as yellow as it actually is

I think the end is near your attenuata. Looks it will be flowering soon.

Enjoy it because attenuata flowers are amazing.

Funny thing is a lot of my others are in flower but they did not turn yellow like this

Was thinking the same thing as Monòver but, like you said, I'd anticipate seeing the atypical, asparagus-like bloom spike emerging if this specimen was starting to bolt. Could very well be in the early stage of doing that but this might just as well be a flush of leaves that's a bit paler than the norm. Interesting. Keep us updated.

Well mine did begins to flower after all. The only one that turned a really nice albino look before flowering I'm hoping I get some nice variegates off of this plant when it has finished its flowering we will see
