Here you can see the covered lanai at the top of the slope, a great place to relax with a beverage and take in the views of a thin slice of blue water and vast, brilliant blue sky.

The meeting is always a very social occasion and the turnout was good.  Thank you to the Cooleys and Fletchers for sharing your beautiful collections with the Palm Society of Southern California.

Wow!  Seriously, what can't you grow in Southern California.  It looks like a gardener's paradise.  You can grow tropical, cool-hardy, cold-hardy and drought-loving plants all in one place.  Those huge Howea Forsteriana are ungrowable here.

Thanks for posting, Kim.

Thanks Kim!

For attending, and taking pictures. It's even better than being there! (And I was there!)

And reminding us that thought this corner of the world is expensive, it's well worth it.

No.  Who are these strangers sporting beards and sippy cups?

Great landscaping, by the way.
