So this another random seed find that has sprouted for me. The seed looked like a Veitchia seed (long and pointed at tip). The leaf is a very rich darker green.  Any idea what it is?

Seed was larger than a Chambeyronia and the seedling was much more “robust” looking than the chambeyronia seedlings I have elsewhere

Got it, Im just saying it germinated in a pot next to my germinated Chambeyronia "watermelon" and looks completely different.

I don't remember Chambeyronia having the chopped leaf tips as seedlings. I would guess one of the big Veitchias, most likely joannis.

Thanks! Wasn't sure if the seedling Veitchia's would have this dark leaves. On retrospect this was most likely parent tree
