I'm trying to grow all types of fan palms. I bought some Bismarck palm tree seeds and looking for some ways to speed up germination. I have like 65 Mexican fan palms seedlings. I also need help to germinate bottle palm seeds also. I can't wait to learn about different types of palms

Welcome to the forum!  Keep them warm and moist, then start watching paint peel for a few months ;)  In all seriousness, patience is something we've all had to learn.

Welcome. Palms germinate according to their wishes, not ours. Generally, the larger the seed the longer germination will take - many months in some cases. For tropical seeds warmth will encourage germination. Your Washingtonias should give good, quick results if they are fresh. Bismarckias put down long radicles so make sure to plant them in deep pots.

Bismarckia are tough for a lot of people because they do not give them enough heat.  They will not germinate quickly unless the soil temps are 90-100F steady. These are one of the species we have to use heat mats for in the spring and if you wait until summer they are starting to loose their viability.

I have sown some fresh seeds of Bismarckia. The first of them germinated within 14 days. I had them in a plastic bag with 50% coir and 50% perlite on the radiator where the temperature is 30- 35 C  (86-95F). This method also worked well for Washingtonia filfera with the same result.

Welcome new palm frother.

Like kjellp said constant heat and time, invest in a heat mat and thermostat, and place in an enclosed box of some sort.

Maybe some unprotected Sabal minor, Rhapidophylum hystrix, and Trachycarpus fortunei in this mix?

Germinating palm seeds can take years, so patience is key. Have your bottle palm seeds germinated yet?

Maybe you could speed this up using the plastic/paper (depending on the palm seed) "bag method" I have heard of but don't remember the specifics (I found it somewhere on a Palmtalk thread).
