Wow, thanks for the fast accolades!

The big fat gray trunk on the far right is a Roystonea borinquenia; the skinny burlap-looking trunk to its left belongs to a Cocothrinax dussiana (the source of some of the seed I gave away earlier); to the left of that is a small Cocothriniax dussiana, kind of mixed up with a Rhapidophyllum hystrix. Immediately next to the brick path left of that is a Dypsis albofarinosa, and the dangling leaf belongs to a Dypsis baronii with 18 trunks.

Clivias are blooming in yellow and orange. The pink flowers on the far right are Alstromerias, which I planted right after I moved here, more than 15 years ago.

That golden-green plumose leaf near top right-center belongs to a Syagrus Sancona. The dark green Screen of Doom is comprised of Arenga engleri. Just beyond it is my neighbor's ugly-[expletive] roof.

A crowded garden can look bigger.

Out of curiosity, does the Roystonea borinquenia ever produce seed?

That is a very pleasant view to have in the front yard mate, looks like a nice place to sit on a warm day with a cold tinnie.

Thats brilliant. A bit like my front and back yard. It simply makes me feel good to brush against palm fronds as I walk around my garden. Rhapis is especially good for that. I used to go on business trips to Asia, and stayed in flash Hotels. They always had big bunches of palm fronds and flowers all over the place in huge vases, and it took me a while to realise what the stuff on my clothes was......stuff from the flowers, cause I brushed against them all. Beautiful garden Dave.

Extraordinary Dave!  That a front yard can be so private and soothing is something I can’t imagine.  A nice, cold Margarita in the shade of those palms on a hot day would be a sure way to slough off any stress!
