I saw this palm in Delray Beach, FL and it looks to my [amateur] eyes like a Carpoxylon macrospermum, except for the whitish stuff that I can't recall the name of and the color. Can somebody tell me what it is??

@JungleGina,

It is unlikely (though still possible) that this palm is Carpoxylon macrospermum.

I would be interested myself to find out what its true ID is.

I also fail to remember the name of this faded whitish-green color.

That's a Pseudophoenix. The species is harder to tell from the photo and for a palm that size, but I'd guess its P sargentii

I have a C. macrospermum that I got from Ken Johnson a number of years ago and I just love it. This reminded me of that palm. Thanks for the ID, I will add it to my wish list as I don't have too many blue palms.
