That's what I was thinking. Wish I could get that kind of price on similar size palms! Good luck......

Rare cycads have always fetched a high dollar! I checked around before pricing this cycad! Everyone i spoke too was about a 1000 dollars a inch on specimen size Latifrons! which this is! Jeff palm won't fetch this kind of money because they grow fast and are easy to obtain! A one leaf seedling of latifrons goes for anywhere from 200 -400 dollars! Simple math would explain price!

Nice one Ron!  I sold a 5" caudex Lati for $5,000.00 about 7 years ago.

10" potted latifrons aren't easy to find.  The asking price isn't out of line.

I sold a similar size seed grown Latifrons for the same price, but that was several years ago. If it is seed grown it is in the high range for price but not over priced. Latifrons right now are difficult to find, even seedlings.

It is a nice healthy plant.

Gary seed grown plants are more desirable because they grow faster! This is a seed grown plant and is at least 20 years old!

In the ground from a seedling that would be ten years to that size.

Maybe ! Maybe not! I have one that been in the ground a lot longer that is around same size! I am on the coast and lack inland heat! Anyway this is a really nice specimen! And you don't see these around much at this size!

Im inland, big difference.

Regardless I would like to sell ! There are not many of these available! You said you sold yours for about same money! Would entertain a reasonable offer!
