I would be so thankful if anyone could help me identify these two types of palms we picked up, they turned out not to be what we were told and we don’t want to use them until we are really sure what we have here.

It was suggested that the first one might be a Sabal Palm????:

The second one I think is some sort of Chinese fan palm:

Thank you so much for your help.  We would be so happy to identify these properly and start planting.  Very much appreciated!

The second one is definitely Livistona Chinesis. Not sure about the first one though.

@Estlander - thank you very much, that helps a lot.  I had thought as much and now we can go ahead with planting those.  Really appreciate it.

Very curious if anyone can identify the first one as we are not at all certain that is a Sabal.  Thanks for all the support and help.

The first one is a Sabal. Can’t tell which one until it’s older though.

Los Angeles, CA and Myrtle Beach, SC.

First one is a sabal of some kind and you can't be sure exactly what it is until it gets larger.  It isn't a sabal minor and it isn't a sabal uresana, but could be anything else though.

Fantastic.  That really helps a lot to get that sorted out.  Very grateful for your help in identifying them.  Thank you so much!
