Coccothrinax argentata - Two 1g Seedlings FL Native Palm

I am selling my last two 1g seedlings of Coccothrinax argentata from my mother palm in one lot. They are approximately 3 years old and going palmate. Coccothrinax argentata, aka FL Silver Thatch Palm, is native to FL and the Bahamas where it grows in pinelands, open woods and coastal dunes. It is very slow growing, eventually reaching 20' tall with great age with a stem only 5" in diameter. Palms from mainland FL are often much shorter. My mother palm is nearly 30 years old and has a trunk only 3-4' tall and is barely taller than I am (5'6"). I have found this species to be the hardiest Coccothrinax I have. Its pristine fronds are dark green above and glistening silver below with golden yellow hastulas. My mother palm has withstood temps down to the upper 20s with no damage. Even two major hurricanes haven't fazed it. Newly germinated sprouts look like blades of grass and take years to reach substantial size. Photos 1-6 are of palms for sale. Shipping Cost Included in price. Plants will be sent via Priority Mail. I will remove them from pots, wrap roots in damp orchid most, clear wrap and foil.
