Waykoolplantz, A friend here in Loxahatchee Groves has had one in the ground for several years and it's beautiful and thriving, about 3 - 4 feet tall now. It's growing on the east side of his house in full sun for several hours a day but shaded in the afternoon. I planted three here, two years ago in a fairly shady spot and they are doing fine, but not breaking any speed records. Go for it!
