Just sprouted seeds of acacia dunnii (elephant ear wattle). I had my doubts about them being labeled correctly but i noticed today that they're forming their first juvenile/ adult leaves. Updates as they mature, of course. 

@Silas_Sancona i thought of you with these. I bet they'd grow well in your climate.

:greenthumb: Thats a sweet looking Acacia Josue. Hadn't heard of this one but, unless it has issues with extreme heat,  bet your hunch would be correct.. and become popular since Bauhinia sp. are the only shrubs/trees with similar foliage here.

I had one but here they are very weedy. They're native to an area south west of here but have been locally introduced and spread fairly rapidly. Mine appeared to have come with an excavation contractor. I cut off the seed pods to stop the spread and eventually when the seed pods got too high just got rid of it. The leaves do have a great 'blue' colour to them and I can understand them being popular.
