Dear Palmtalkers; this spring I got two yellow cocos palms from a Dutch nursery.  They are just as old (sprouted last winter), but there is a significant difference in growth. Can this be the difference between a "normal" Cocospalm and a dwarf one? The mightbe IMG_20180813_120642cocos.thumb.jpg.e3c48IMG_20180813_120739cocos.thumb.jpg.ccde3 dwarf is already starting to make split leaves, the big brother is not.

Dude just my opinion my coco is about the same age as yours. The roots on mine have almost filled an entire pot up and I’m using a 3 gallon pot

You need bigger pots! Looks like they're growing well regardless though.
