Hi

someone brought me 5 Bismarck seeds,  peeled the soft "cover" off, and the sumerge them in room temp. (tropical country), are they viable? if so what is the right procedure?

They wont germinate at room temp. Only one of those look viable. I have found the floaters germinate at an awful rate- 5% at best. I now throw all floaters out and dont waste the space. Soak for 4-5 days then put them somewhere HOT, like 100f or higher.

I soaked 5 Bismarck’s in water for 24 hours. Put them in a baggie set temperature to 90-95 degrees. 3 germinated first week. And our all growing well the other two still have not budged in 2 months

I’m pretty sure the only ones that germinated sank right away
