I have some really nice super cold hardy trithrinax brasiliensis var. acanthocoma in 25 gallon containers. These are perfectly grown!

These are nice indeed Josh.  Did you grow them from seed yourself?  If so, how long did it take them to get to this size?

Those are nice for the price! Tough as nails just as pointy, plenty of needles for your next spinal tap.

I original got them as small 5 gals and grew them up

For a tough, hot and cold climate these are hard to beat.

Those two-tone dark green and silver leaves are quite striking. They’re big enough to be notable (4-6 feet across crown) but never turn into monsters. The trunk spines add visual interest without being nasty like some other spiny palms can be. They take their time getting tall, which makes for greater landscape usefulness.

Bet they’d rock any climate where you could raise Buteas.
