Adonidia merrillii Hybrid

I have been noticing for some time in lots of nursery’s that the Adonidia merrillii for sale do not look like the old ones in my yard.  The leaf base scars are very wide apart making them a very fast grower.  I suspect they are really hybrids.  I did a little research here on PT and found a little info, most recently from PalmatierMeg.  I have put some pics in from one in my yard.  It was here when I purchased the property.  I allowed some of the seeds to naturally grow as they fell.  It is easy to tell just from the trunks they are not the same.  Could anyone weigh in and confirm.

Interesting.

It's just that the seedlings are growing in the shade (and stretching out), whereas the adult plant probably had full sun from early on.

To me, the palm in the first photo is Adonidia merrillii and in the second and third photo looks like Ptychosperma elegans (or maybe a Veitchia species?).
