I've been watching this tall variety (not sure which kind) for a couple years. I believe it was planted either 2015 or 2016.  It was less damaged than others around town this past winter when it got down to 28F. It regrew a full crown and is now fruiting.

I saw that tree while attending the landscape show. Looks good. There were all sorts of 10a/10b material near the convention center.

Ha, I took note of that same coconut walking back from the Landscape show (I parked at the ICON parking garage). I was thinking that it looks to have been there quite awhile.

I was just thinking about this palm the other day.  It looks great!  I think it will be there for a long time being so sheltered and on the south side of a large urban environment.

I take it the royals in the parking lot probably look flawless?

I stopped by to admire this particular palm when I stayed on I-drive for a week in June.  Seeing it setting fruit is a good sign.

The royals looked perfect. Unfortunately, those healthy palms were removed to make way for a wider road and the new 400 ft swing or whatever that thing is. Disappointing!

I found a pic of the royal just before it was removed.
