Licuala sarawak "compacta"  at lest thats the name I got, an unknown specie?? from Jeff Marcus. like a small peltata, really nice. Pushing its first flower spikes. Hope it seeds.

I live near a big high school where many "walkers" pass by my house as well as all the school buses.  If I had a tree that put out an inflorescence like that hapala I'd put it on my head and mow the front lawn when school got out just to give the "Locals" a laugh.

Dypsis prestoniana... hoping for some viable seed eventually.  4th emerging inflorescence on this plant, with no successful seed set yet.

I'm wishing the sun would come out and stay out for a bit.  The flowers on my Dypsis prestoniana seem to be stalled "waiting for the sun".  It must be a big Doors fan...
