I have had this Cycas which I bought as no id as a small band.  While it shows great similarity to my Cycas thouarsii, it always has had the shiny green upper leaflets and grows slower than C thouarsii as well as holding leaves a bit different.  Any ideas on what it might be?  Still hasn't coned so no help on the cone's appearance yet.  I find it attractive in structure and it's kept a little shorter leaves than my other Cycas with similar size caudex.

Its a Pacific cycas which you already know. Which one for sure i can not say as i find them very challenging to ID. Environmental differences have more of an affect on appearance than documented differences between actual species.
